ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Jed Ortmeyer scored in the second and third periods to help Michigan to a 6-2 victory Saturday night over Alaska Fairbanks.
Ortmeyer scored for the Wolverines (5-1-0, 2-0-0 Central Collegiate) shorthanded at 5:49 in the second, and put in the final goal of the night at 15:48 in the third.
Aaron Voros gave Alaska Fairbanks (1-4-1, 0-3-1) a 1-0 lead in the first. But Jeff Trambellini tied it at 3:43 in the second. Following Ortmeyer's first goal, David Moss made it 3-1 Michigan.
Russell Spence had UAF's other goal.
Michigan beat UAF, 5-2, in Friday night's game. Tom Herman and Ryan Campell scored for UAF.
