Longtime Juneau resident, Victor H. Bouschor, 82, died Sunday Oct. 17, 2004, at the Sharon Care Center in Centralia, Wash.
He served for the country in World War II as a Marine. He was a survivor of Pearl Harbor and campaigned through the South Pacific. His family said, "Not only will the ones that knew him and the lives he touched miss him, so will the country he served."
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera D. Bouschor.
He is survived by his children, William V. Bouschor of Chehalis, Wash., James H. Bouschor of Juneau, Victoria M. Burgess of Arnold, Md., Patrick Sheehan and Michael Sheehan of Juneau; and his many grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2 p.m., Nov. 7, 2004, at the Juneau Elks' Club 420.
