Calling to curb session move

Posted: Monday, October 28, 2002

Sen. Kim Elton, a Democrat, and Republican challenger Cathy Muñoz call Juneau residents Sunday urging them to vote no on ballot measure No. 2, which would move legislative sessions out of Juneau. Elton and Muñoz were volunteering for the Alaska Committee, which is sponsoring a phone campaign this week. Volunteers are calling from the Keith Miller Room at Centennial Hall, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. The campaign can be reached at 463-4305.
