I am voting to retain Gov. Sean Parnell on Nov. 2. He has proven to me that he is a good leader for our state. Parnell has quietly moved Alaska in a positive direction on all fronts.
Alaskans want and need cheaper energy. Ethan Berkowitz is promising a quick fix scheme for a gas pipeline, while Parnell is implementing a directive that was approved by a vast majority of the Alaska Legislature. This plan is working and making progress.
When one is not in office, political promises are easily made to draw attention. However, when a candidate who has in the past consistently aligned himself with obstructionist environmental groups tells me that he has a better plan for major building projects, I do not believe him.
Parnell is our best choice for governor.
