Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

* Bret Simpson, 40, was arrested for drunken driving at 11:32 p.m. Saturday near Egan Drive and Willoughby Avenue. Police said they had given him a warning earlier in the evening that he was too intoxicated to drive. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

* Nurullah Reynolds, 28, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:42 a.m. Sunday near Vista Drive. He also was cited for driving with a revoked license. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

* Adam Corcoran, 20, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:04 a.m. Sunday near Loop Road. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

Thefts:

* An employee of a downtown service station reported at 12:25 p.m. Saturday that a man had driven off without paying for gas.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

* A woman, 28, was arrested at 3 p.m. Saturday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive for criminal mischief and criminal trespassing. She also was charged with resisting arrest and lodged at the state prison.

* Police responded at 9:04 a.m. Saturday near Abby Way to a report from a man who said someone broke the rear passenger window of his GMC van around 4 a.m. Saturday.

* A man reported at 9:22 a.m. Saturday from Forest Lane that his mailbox had been vandalized Friday night. Police said it was struck with an unknown object.

* A man reported at 10:04 a.m. Saturday from Douglas Highway that the left rear window of his Ford Explorer was broken Friday night. He also told police another vehicle in the area had eggs thrown at it. The police said they had no suspects.

Underage drinking:

* A girl, 15, was cited for underage drinking at 12:13 a.m. Sunday near Switzer Mobile Home Park. She was released to her mother.

* Two boys, 18 and 19, were cited for underage drinking at 1:26 a.m. Sunday near University Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

* Police cited a girl, 17, for driving in a left-only turn lane following a two-vehicle accident. A gray Toyota pickup driven by the girl struck a black Toyota Rav 4 driven by a woman, 45. The pickup sustained $1,000 damages and the Rav 4 sustained $2,000 damages.

Animal encounters:

* A bear climbed a tree to get onto a home's second-floor deck at 8:53 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway and Cohen Drive. Police advised the man who made the complaint to contact the state Department of Fish and Game.

* A bear was reported at 12:13 a.m. today near Switzer Village trying to get into an arctic entryway of a residence to get trash stored there. The caller was referred to Fish and Game.
