Thanks for hosting UAS Day for our seniors

Posted: Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Juneau-Douglas High School students and staff would like to extend a special thanks to the University of Alaska Southeast for hosting our senior students in an introduction to college life and opportunities at UAS.

On Oct. 15, more than 150 students attended UAS for a day of informative workshops and fun. We would especially like to thank Vice Chancellor of Student Services Bruce Gifford, EMAS and Admissions and Pre-College Pathways Coordinator Julie Staveland, and the staff for all of their support and work to provide this opportunity and make this day so successful.
