At 10:31 p.m. Tuesday, a 27-year-old woman reported a 40-year-old man broke a door.

Domestic Violence

At 6:02 p.m. Tuesday, a 43-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 2:29 a.m. Wednesday, a 43-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC.

Minor Consuming Alcohol

At 10:29 p.m. Tuesday, Kurtis Michael Detemple, 18, was cited as a minor consuming alcohol in the 4400 block of Mendenhall Boulevard.

Motor Vehicle Crash

At 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman and a vehicle driven by a 53-year-old woman collided on Glacier Highway. The vehicle driven by the 32-year-old woman was totaled. The other vehicle sustained $5,000 damage. The 32-year-old woman was cited.

At 11:31 a.m. Wednesday, a 76-year-old man reported his vehicle was rear ended by an unknown vehicle in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The damage is estimated at $500.


At 2:24 p.m. Tuesday, a summons was served on a 50-year-old woman in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue.

At 8:02 p.m. Tuesday, a summons was served on a 20-year-old woman in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.


At 3:37 p.m. Tuesday, a 54-year-old man reported a briefcase stolen from his vehicle in the 4300 block of Riverside Drive.

At 4:32 p.m. Tuesday, a 42-year-old man reported a door was stolen from a vehicle in the 9900 block of Crazy Horse Drive. The door has an estimated value of $1,000.

At 4:39 p.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old woman reported the theft of two checks in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

At 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department reported a 16-year-old girl was in custody for shoplifting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

At 11:02 p.m. Tuesday, JPD reported shoplifitng at Fred Meyer's in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

At 9:44 a.m. Wednesday, a 62-year-old man reported the theft of a battery and alternator from his boat in the 2200 block of Brandy Lane. He also reported vandalism to the fuel tank.

At 11:58 a.m. Wednesday, Jacob Anthony Clark, 22, was cited for larceny in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.


No charges were filed against Carolyn Jack after her contact with JPD. The report of the encounter appeared on page A2 of Sunday's Empire.


At 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, a 55-year-old man reported vandalism to his mailbox in the 10900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The damage is estimated at $20.

Vehicle Impound

At 8:11 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle was impounded as abandoned on Shaune Drive.
