Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Thefts:
Several items, including a purple Northface purse with a mesh bottom, a wallet and a 35 mm camera were reported stolen at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday from a vehicle parked on Jordan Avenue.
Underage drinking:
Police cited five young people for underage drinking at 12:47 a.m. today near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. Police were responding to a fight involving two men, both 19, a man, 18, a woman, 18, and a woman, 20.
Vehicle accidents:
Police cited a man, 18, for negligent driving following a a two-vehicle accident at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday near Wolfram Way and Ninnis Drive. A forklift driven by the man struck a green 1994 Ford truck, driven by a man, 35. The accident caused about $5,000 in damage to the Ford. The man also was cited for driving with a revoked license.
A 69-year-old woman was cited for failure to yield while making a left-hand turn following a two-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at Glacier Highway and Vanderbilt Hill Road. A black 1994 Toyota, driven by the woman, struck a white 1992 Geo, driven by a man, 23. Total damage to both vehicles was $5,000.
No one was injured as a result of a vehicle losing control on ice around 6:40 a.m. today near inbound Egan Drive near the Lemon Creek bridge. A 1988 Jeep, driven by a woman, 26, struck the guardrail of the bridge. The vehicle sustained about $4,000 in damage.
Another vehicle lost control on ice in the same area at 6:57 a.m. today. A 1980 Toyota pickup struck the guardrail. The vehicle sustained about $500 worth of damage.
Hit-and-run incidents:
A black Toyota pickup did not stop after striking a tan Subaru Legacy around 6:59 a.m. today on the Douglas Bridge. The accident caused $2,500 to $3,000 to the Subaru.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reported Tuesday at 6:42 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 10:15 p.m. near Glacier Highway and today at 3:01 a.m. near Brittany Place.

Crime Line
Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for the Sept. 13 thefts from three businesses on Yandunkin Drive. Police received a report of three burglaries at the Ward Air building. About $300 was taken from Ward Air, $100 from Action Appliance and $800 from Bear Creek Outfitters.
