Animal complaint:

Sound off on the important issues at

• A bear attempting to get into a Dumpster was reported at about 12:45 a.m. Monday on Great Western Street.


• A 48-year-old man was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Franklin Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Criminal trespassing:

• A 40-year-old man was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing shortly after noon Sunday in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Underage drinking:

• An 18-year-old man was cited for underage drinking at 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 9200 block of Cinema Drive.


• A man reported at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday that vandals slashed four tires and damaged the windshield and side window of his 1989 Dodge Truck in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
