Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Kevin Dickman, 44, at 2:50 a.m. Saturday near Cordova Street on a charge of drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic disputes:

• Police arrested a man, 27, on a domestic-violence assault charge at 1:16 p.m. Thursday in an unspecified area of Juneau. They lodged him at the state prison.


• Police cited a man, 42, on a shoplifting charge at 4:33 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Whittier Street downtown.

• At 9:35 a.m. Friday, a woman reported that $310 was stolen Thursday night from her business in the 3000 block of Clinton Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.

• At 11 a.m. Saturday near Egan Drive a woman reported that a backpack and briefcase had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle.


• At 1:16 p.m. Thursday, vandalism was reported to the windshield of a 1999 Dodge truck near F Street in the Douglas area.

• At 5:32 p.m. Thursday, a side window of a minivan was reported shot out with what appeared to be a BB in the 8500 block of Forest Lane in the Valley.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 24, on a charge of failing to yield to a pedestrian at 7:10 p.m. Thursday at Mendenhall Loop and Mendenhall Mall roads, where officers responded to a reported accident. The man was driving a 1990 Honda Civic that reportedly struck a boy, 13, riding a bicycle in the intersection. Capital City Fire & Rescue responded, as well as police, who reported the boy was not injured.

Animal encounters:

• Police issued a litter citation at 2:02 a.m. Friday after responding to a report of a bear getting into garbage in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
