Former Juneau resident Ramona "Dolly" (Nicklie) McVay died Oct. 28, 2002, in her Port Angeles, Wash., home.
She was born to Henrietta Haberman and the late Wilson Nicklie Sr. on Nov. 21, 1960, in Anchorage.
She is survived by her grandmother Elizabeth Katasse and mother Henrietta Haberman of Sitka; children Scott, Melissa, Tammy and Timothy McVay of Tillamook, Ore.; grandchildren Cody, Drake, Jullian, Taelee and Brooke; brothers Wilson Nicklie Jr., Tim Katasse Sr., and Shane Abbott of Juneau; sisters Janice Nicklie and Edna Abbott of Juneau, Janet Armer of Sitka, and Betty Abbott-Smith of Port Angeles, Wash., and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Henry Katasse Sr. of Kake, and her uncle Henry Katasse Jr. of Hoonah.
Pallbearers are Irving Katasse, Wilson Nicklie Jr., Shane Abbott, Carl Larsen Jr., Wilson Carlos, Clarence "Buzzy" Dick, Lester Davis and Robert "Rabbit" Davis. Honorary pallbearers are: John Katasse Sr., Chuck Katasse, Jeff Katasse, Garfield Katasse, James Katasse, Tim Katasse Sr., Sam Pedro, Carl Larsen Sr., Violet Jamison, Clare Bernhardt and Joni Roberts.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Salvation Army Hall in Sitka followed by a reception. Visitation and viewing is at 2 p.m.
