Drunken driving:

Sound off on the important issues at

• Harold Lloyd Hassell, 33, was arrested at about 12:50 a.m. Thursday on a charge of drunken driving, driving without a license and refusal to take a breath-alcohol test. Hassell was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Underage drinking:

• A 15-year-old girl was cited for underage drinking at 1:40 a.m. Thursday on Marine Way.

Possession of drugs:

• A 37-year-old female was cited on a charge of drug possession and released at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Skaters Cabin Road.


• A 27-year-old man was arrested at about 9:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street on a charge of criminal mischief. He was lodged at the state prison.


• A 25-year-old man was arrested at about 9:40 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 11th Street on a charge of trespassing. He was lodged at the state prison.

Bear complaints:

• A bear was spotted getting into garbage at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue.

• A sow and cub were seen at 12:35 a.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue.

• A bear was reported in a building at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Nowell Ave.


• At about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, a 79-year-old man reported that a $5 bottle of aspirin and other personal effects were stolen from his vehicle in the 300 block of West 12th Street.

• At about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, a 43-year-old man reported $600 in cash was stolen in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue.
