ANCHORAGE - An activist and frequent critic of Sarah Palin has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, claiming Alaska Senate hopeful Joe Miller violated agency regulations for flying on a private aircraft.
Andree McLeod says her review of Miller's FEC filings suggest Miller paid only for fuel for campaign flights on a private plane. She believes that's a violation of regulations requiring that he pay the charter rate for a comparable plane when flying privately.
A Miller spokesman did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
Palin has backed Miller in the race.
