Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
James Jack Jr., 28, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a April 22, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .217 percent. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 30 days in jail with no days suspended, ordered Jack to pay $3,000 with none suspended and revoked his license for one year.
Knute Felipe, 32, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 13, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .153 percent. Levy imposed 20 days in jail with another 80 days suspended, ordered Felipe to pay $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and placed him on probation for two years.
Christine McQuitty, 55, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 3, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .314 percent. Levy imposed 6 days in jail with another 40 days suspended, ordered McQuitty to pay $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for two years.
