Snowmachiner found dead near village

NUNAM IQUA - A snowmachiner missing from a western Alaska village has been found dead.

Alaska State Troopers say 39-year-old Isaac Joe was last seen more than a week ago. He was reported missing from the village of Nunam Iqua, near Sheldon Point.

Troopers and local volunteers conducted a search.

On Friday, ground searchers found his body near the shore.

No foul play is suspected.

Troopers believe alcohol was a factor.
