In the pragmatic and often cynical world of politics, it is rare to find a candidate with a strong set of core beliefs that they're willing to stick by. Sen. Kim Elton is one.
Kim believes in investing in Juneau's future, and he works hard to defend the interests of our community and all of Southeast Alaska. He isn't afraid to stand up to the majority when they try to shortchange our community. Kim has fought for - and won - funding for the new high school in the Valley (which we get when the education bonds pass), the addition to the UAS library, as well as $23 million for roads and harbors in Juneau.
When Kim promises to work hard for Juneau, he does it, and I'm glad he's on our side.
