Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Kim Andrews, 36, on a drunken-driving charge at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday on Mendenhall Loop Road and University Drive. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle she was driving.


• Police arrested a man, 23, at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday on an assault charge in the 100 block of South Franklin Street. They lodged him at the state prison.


• A backpack was reported stolen from a 1991 Honda Civic at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 79, on a charge of failing to yield at the scene of an accident at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday at outbound Egan Drive near Harris Harbor. The woman was driving a 1999 Mercury, which reportedly struck a 1995 Chevrolet truck driven by a man, 60. Damage was estimated at $2,500. No damage was reported to the Chevrolet.

• No one was injured in an accident reported at 5:51 p.m. Tuesday on Fish Creek Road on Douglas Island. A 1998 Isuzu Rodeo driven by a man, 28, reportedly rolled down an embankment.
