Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Prescription medication was reported stolen at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday in a burglary in the 9300 block of Northland Street in the Lemon Creek area.


• Two ivory carvings, a 6.5-inch ivory cribbage board and a 17-inch cribbage board were reported stolen at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday from the 900 block of Calhoun Ave. The loss was estimated at $1,875.

• A backpack containing two books, a coat, identification and a ski pass was reported stolen at 6:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Glacier Highway downtown. The loss was estimated at $175.

• A case containing 32 compact discs was reported stolen at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday from a 1993 Jeep Cherokee on Foster Avenue in the Douglas area.


• At 9:45 a.m. Thursday, a pumpkin was reported to have been thrown at the side mirror of a 1993 Jeep Laredo. Damage was estimated at $200.

Animal encounters:

• At 11:04 p.m. Wednesday a bear was reported to have gotten into a bear-proof storage container in the 5800 Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
