Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 55-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 10:43 p.m. Sunday in the downtown area. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Prescription medication was reported stolen at 9:59 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive in the Douglas area.


• Police cited a man at 11:42 p.m. Sunday on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender after a reported traffic stop in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive.


• Capital City Fire and Rescue extinguished a trailer fire in the Churchill Trailer Court Sunday. Firefighters responded to the scene at 4:37 p.m. and were there for about four hours. Damage was estimated at $20,000. There were no injuries.


• A gas tank was reported stolen at 1:26 p.m. Sunday from a 1991 Jeep Cherokee in the 8300 block of Airport Boulevard. The loss was estimated at $50.

• A bicycle was reported stolen at 9:11 a.m. Monday in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.


• Rocks were reported thrown at a 2001 Nissan Sentra at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Third Street in Douglas. Damage was reported to the hood and windshield.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a 25-year-old woman on a charge of failing to yield on a left turn at 4:06 p.m. Sunday on Glacier Highway near Trout Street near the airport. The woman was driving a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier that reportedly struck a 1993 Toyota, driven by a 42-year-old woman. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to each vehicle.

• Police cited a 17-year-old girl on charges including negligent driving and failing to carry proof of insurance after an accident at 4:41 p.m. Sunday near the 7700 block of Glacier Highway. The girl was driving a 1997 Ford that reportedly hit a 1996 Toyota in the rear while it was stopped waiting for another vehicle. Police impounded the Ford.

Traffic stops:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 3:46 p.m. Sunday on Capital Avenue downtown after citing the driver, a 36-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

• Police impounded a vehicle at 4:09 p.m. Sunday near the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a 19-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
