Organization description: The Alaska State Museum identifies, collects, preserves and exhibits Alaska's material culture and provides public access to services and collections.

Volunteer positions available: The museum is looking for volunteers to help throughout the year. Youth and adult volunteers are needed for the youth program, museum friends and summer docents. For those with experience in museum exhibit design, installation, registration and collections, volunteers are needed in exhibition and collections.

Hours: Ongoing and one-time volunteers are needed with various projects.

Training: Volunteers will be trained as needed. Summer docents will be trained in the spring.
