I am writing to thank and congratulate the Empire's staff on the excellent job it did during the runup to the present elections.

The comprehensive coverage of ballot measures, candidate profiles, publication of voting information and especially the commitment of huge quantities of space to the publication of individual expressions of opinion through letters to the editor all demonstrate a commitment to our community that really is above and beyond.

I think the Empire is entitled to the thanks and praise of the Juneau community you've served so well in this important election.
