Alaska voters approved three bond propositions Tuesday that would fund residential mortgages for veterans, transportation projects and education facilities statewide.
Bond Proposition C, which would set up a debt reimbursement program that would help fund a new high school in the Mendenhall Valley, was passing with 58.6 percent in support and 41.4 percent voting no. The totals are as of 10:30 p.m. with 300 of 446 precincts reporting.
Bond Proposition B, which included funding road and highway projects statewide, was passing with 67.9 percent in favor and 32 percent against. The measure included $7.1 million to repair Juneau's harbors.
Bond Proposition A, which would fund veteran's residential mortgages, was passing with 70.3 percent in favor and 29.6 percent voting no.
