I am so sick and tired of listening to the radio, the television, and now my personal phone line while two or more of these parties bash each other instead of focussing on the real issues of what they can contribute to Alaska and our country.
Do we really need to listen to who didn't do this and who did this negative thing, etc.? Not only are we teaching our children to be backstabbing politicians, we are being programmed to vote based on all the negative issues. If that were the case in all of our relationships, we would have no one.
Everyone has skeletons in their closets; others still have the fresh dead body there. The point is, what outweighs what. If the positive outweighs the negative, we can correct the negative. If not, we certainly will learn from it. If I recall correctly, if a person has put their number on the Do Not Call list for soliciting (thus including votes), you as the politician should be following the law and stop calling. If not, at least call us yourselves so we can have a lovely debate. A person takes more kindly to someone if they show a personal interest in what we have to say.
