Vehicle accident:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At 12:03 p.m., a 78-year-old man driving a 2004 Mercury was cited for careless driving following an accident involving a 2007 Ford driven by a 39-year-old woman on Mendenhall Loop Road. Damage to the Mercury was estimated at $1500. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $2500.

Domestic disputes:

• At 4:07 p.m., a 22-year-old man was charged with domestic violence assault in the 5900 block of Churchill Way. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 8:19 a.m., a 40-year-old man was arrested in the 1500 block of Second Street for failure to stop at the direction of a police officer and for interfering with an officer.


• A 57-year-old man reported at 6:37 p.m. that his 1999 Honda boat motor had been stolen in the 16800 block of Lena Loop Road. The estimated value of the motor was $1500.

• A 58-year-old man reported at 10:24 p.m. that an Alaskan Brewery dish had been stolen from his front porch during the night in the 700 block of Sixth Street. The dish was valued at $45.

Criminal mischief:

• At 11:15 p.m., a 49-year-old man was cited and released for resisting arrest and criminal mischief in the 200 block of Front Street.

Drunken driving:

• Jeremy Jones, 32, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at 2:51 a.m. on Egan Drive. He was additionally charged with reckless endangerment. A 46-year-old man was also arrested on a charge of interfering with a police officer and harassment. Both men were lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
