Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Pamela James, 22, was arrested for drunken driving at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday near Mendenhall Loop Road. She also was charged with driving without a valid license. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A leather wallet containing a check book, various cards and $35 was reported stolen at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday from Mendenhall Mall Road.

• Two lead X-ray aprons were reported missing at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday from Hospital Drive.


• Police arrested a girl, 16, for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, a felony, at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday near West 12th Street. Police did not release her name. She was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.

Hit-and-run incidents:

• A green 1995 Jeep Cherokee was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 10:08 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. The right front bumper sustained $500 in damage.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Tuesday at 5:11 p.m. near Cordova Street and Nowell Avenue, 8:09 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 8:37 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek and today at 1:57 a.m. near Churchill Way.

Drug-related calls: 1.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for the theft Sept. 10 of an alarm box from the boiler room of Holy Trinity Church. The box is a red Silent Knight alarm model 5207 valued at $2,400.
