Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police cited a girl, 17, on a charge of making an unsafe lane change after an accident at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday at Egan Drive and Glacier Highway. The 1991 Ford the girl was driving allegedly struck a 2001 Jeep. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1,000. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
At 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, an unoccupied Ford rolled down the hill on Behrends Avenue and struck a Mazda. The Mazda sustained $250 in damage. The Ford sustained $50 in damage.
A boy, 17, allegedly lost control of the 1986 Volvo he was driving at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday in icy conditions and ended up in a ditch near David Street and Douglas Highway. The driver was not injured. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $500.
At 8:04 a.m. Wednesday, a 1997 Ford truck struck a 1986 Volvo that was partially in a ditch and partially in a Douglas Highway lane of travel. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $1,500. Damage to the Volvo was estimated at $2,000.
Police cited a woman, 54, on a charge of failing to yield while making a left turn after an accident at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday on Douglas Highway. The woman was driving a 2000 Toyota that allegedly struck a 1994 GMC vehicle, which reportedly was totaled. The Toyota sustained $1,000 in damage.
Police cited a woman, 52, on a charge of speeding after an accident at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive near Twin Lakes. The woman, driving a 1995 Subaru, allegedly lost control of her car and hit a guard rail. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,500.
Three people reported Wednesday that their vehicles were rifled the previous night in the Mendenhall Valley. At 7:11 a.m., nothing was reported taken from a Ford Escort parked at Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. At 9:35 a.m., nothing was reported taken or damaged from two vehicles parked at Kant Court. At 11:06 a.m., a woman reported $2.50 in change was taken from one of her vehicles parked at Kant Court.
A man reported at 2:07 a.m. Wednesday that he was the victim of a theft of services of $15.50 near Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
A woman reported at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday that a bedroom window of her Glacierwood Drive residence appeared to have been broken by a BB.
At 1:26 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported losing his Remmington pump action shotgun about a month ago in the Mount Juneau area.
