'Leave No Trace' workshop offered

JUNEAU - SAGA will be hosting a "Leave No Trace Certification" workshop Saturday at SAGA's Eagle Valley Center.

The goal of the workshops to assist outdoor enthusiasts with their decisions about how to reduce their impacts when they hike, camp, picnic, snowshoe, run, bike, hunt, paddle, ride horses, fish, ski or climb.

Leave No Trace is a national and international program which educates individuals based on a simple idea: "leave the place you enjoy as good or better than you found (it)."

The workshop is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The SAGA Eagle Valley Center is located at 24600 Amalga Harbor Road.
