ANCHORAGE - A sixth Alaskan has died from swine flu.
State health officials on Thursday said the woman, who was from Fairbanks, died Oct. 27.
Officials tell the Anchorage Daily News that the woman was middle-aged and had multiple existing health conditions that contributed to her death.
Of the state's six swine flu victims, five were from Fairbanks, including four women and a 10-year-old boy. The other victim was a woman from Seward.
