Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

After responding to a report about 5:30 p.m. Monday of a two-vehicle accident on Riverside Drive, police arrested Edward Adams, 31, for drunken driving. He was additionally charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.10 percent and four counts of reckless endangerment. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Assaults:

About 7 p.m. Monday, a man, 68, was arrested in downtown Juneau for third-degree assault and sixth-degree drug misconduct after police intervened in a fight. The suspect was lodged at state prison.

Thefts, lost and found items:

Citizens reported to the Juneau Police Department about 10:30 a.m. Monday that they had found a girls' 10-speed white and purple bicycle on St. Ann's Avenue.

A citizen reported shortly after 3 p.m. Monday the theft of a blank $600 money order from a residence on Foster Avenue.

Vehicle accidents:

Capital City Fire & Rescue responded at 5:35 p.m. Monday to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Riverside Drive. One injured man, 48, was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital. The man was treated for about an hour and a half for back sprain, and then released to his home in good condition.

Animal encounters:

About 3:30 a.m. today, police received a complaint of a bear on Irwin Street.
