Educator of the Year

Harborview Elementary School kindergarten teacher Debbie Fagnant receives the Outstanding Early Childhood Educator of the Year award at the Southeast Alaska chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children conference, held Oct. 20 at Chapel by the Lake. Fagnant was honored for her innovation and creativity in the classroom, willingness to help colleagues and years of service to Juneau schools and early childhood education.
