Business workshop

The Juneau Economic Development Council will hold a free workshop for business owners entitled "Maximizing Profit: Spend Less Time Making More Money," from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Director Brian Johnson will present the workshop, which will be held at the JEDC office at 612 W. Willoughby Ave. He will explore analytical tools that can help business owners make better decisions, including how to find the best use of time and the most efficient sales strategy, and how to decide on equipment purchases. Business owners will gain an understanding of economies of scale to help find the right size for their businesses.

Norman is sales agent

Michelle Norman has been named a sales agent of the Alaska general office of the New York Life Insurance Co. Her office is in Juneau.
