Juneau Tlingit artist Doug Chilton works Tuesday on the bow of a canoe he is carving at Sealaska Plaza. The canoe was commissioned for the new Ocean Hall, which will be opening in September 2008 at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. Chilton plans on completing the 26-foot-long canoe by December.
