Fuglvog, Mayenburg married Oct. 7

Laurie Alison Fuglvog of Issaquah, Wash., and John Mayenburg of Amsterdam, Holland, were married in a ceremony Oct. 7 at the Fall City United Methodist Church in Fall City, Wash. A reception followed at the Salish Lodge and Spa at Snoqualmie Falls, Wash.

The bride is the daughter of Harold M. Fuglvog and Lynne Drake (O'hare) Fuglvog. She is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle and is an employment security analyst for the state Department of Labor.

The groom is the son of Theo and Marge Mayenburg. He is a graduate of Queen Ann High School in Seattle, and is a fisherman and operator for Northland Services.


The matron of honor was Heidi Fuglvog Hines. The flower girl was Julia Marit Hines.

The best man was Robert Pinter. The ushers were Erik James Fuglvog and Erik Hines.

The ring bearer was Mathew Madison.

The couple honeymooned along the Oregon coast and in the redwoods, and will make their home in Juneau.

Ospital, Longacre married Oct. 31

Cris Ospital and Wayne Longacre were married in a ceremony Oct. 31 in the coastal waters off Juneau.

The bride is a nurse at Bartlett Regional Hospital. The groom, a lifetime Juneau resident, is retired.

The ceremony was conducted by Deb Gordon.

The couple, who met through Alaskan Men magazine, will make their home in Juneau.
