More than 60 preschoolers explored a backhoe, learned about construction tools, "read"blueprints for the new swimming pool and built their own cardboard creations during the monthly Preschool Family Night on Nov. 3 at the downtown library. Preschool Family Nights are offered the first Tuesday of every month at the downtown library. They are co-sponsored by Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries, AEYC and Best Beginnings. Next month the theme will be "Wild Alaskan Baby Animals," with special guest Riley Woodford, of Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
