Local church to host 'Arise! Cry Out!' prayer event Saturday

JUNEAU - Moms In Touch International, a nonprofit ministry, is celebrating 25 years of encouraging moms to pray for children and schools with an "Arise! Cry Out!" prayer event to be held locally from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Valley Chapel on Back Loop Road. Registration is from 8:30 to 9 a.m.

Christian women around the world are invited to fast and pray for the generations in more than 1,000 host sites in more than 70 countries.

"Arise! Cry Out!" will be a time of passionate prayer led via DVD by Moms In Touch International founder and president Fern Nichols, the Rev. Miles McPherson and the worship team Crimson Bridge.
