Anchorage museum, KTOO seek artwork

The Anchorage Museum of History and Art is seeking contemporary works of art featuring bugs. The artwork is sought for a year-long exhibit aimed at children and their families. The exhibit will run from June 2001 to May 2002.

All media will be considered. Artists may submit up to 10 slides of work, and there is no entry fee. For information, contact Julie Decker, exhibition co-curator and coordinator, at 907-272-1589. She can be e-mailed at

KTOO-FM in Juneau is looking for artists to participate in a group show called Art for Radio's Sake. The event will be Dec. 2 at Centennial Hall. Tables are $25, and 20 percent of the proceeds benefit KTOO. Interested artists should contact Jeff Brown at 586-1670.
