Stamping out violence

RE Executive Director Saralyn Tabachnick, left, admires a framed copy of a new stamp given to her Monday by Dianne P. Horbochuk, Alaska district manager for the U.S. Postal Service, at the AWARE shelter for battered women and children. The new first-class stamp, titled "Stop Family Violence," was designed to raise funds for domestic violence programs and increase awareness of the issue. The 45-cent stamp shows a distraught woman, drawn by a child artist.
