Days of whine and cheese are over

Letter to the editor

Mary Noble (letters to the editor, Nov. 7), it's time to let it go. The incumbent may not have taken the popular vote in Thailand, or anywhere else your travels have taken you, but President George W. Bush did in fact earn the popular vote by a considerable margin. No one fudged the numbers; there is no vast right wing conspiracy, and it might not be a bad idea if you re-read your opinion before you talk down to us about self-righteousness.

I find your tone divisive. Your reasoning is expressed through venomous and irreverent commentary that serves no other purpose than to offend those that do not share your reality.

Reality as I see it is that our constitutionally based system has once again prevailed and the American people have made their choice.

Ms. Noble, the days of whine and cheese are over.
