Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Police arrested a man, 25, on an assault charge at 2:57 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive near the airport. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a woman, 36, at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday on a larceny charge after responding to a reported shoplifting in the 200 block of Front Street. They lodged her at the state prison.


• A window in a 1996 Nissan pickup was reported smashed out at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday at Capital Avenue and A Street.

Vehicle accidents:

• An accident involving a 1994 Toyota pickup and a 2004 Ford pickup was reported at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Toyota and $1,000 to the Ford.

• Police cited a boy, 16, on a speeding charge after a rollover accident at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday in the 3100 block of Fritz Cove Road. The boy was driving a 1992 Ford Explorer, which was reportedly totaled. Police reported that the driver was not injured.

Warrant arrests:

• Police arrested a man, 42, at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue on a warrant out of Greene County, Ga., charging him as a fugitive from justice, relating to charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Troopers Wednesday arrested a Juneau man, 24, on a warrant charging him with failing to appear as required for jury duty. He was lodged at the state prison.
