Comments on union were immature
In regards to Donn Liston's letter about the ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 in the Juneau Empire on Nov. 7: We may have a rocky path ahead of us, and we may have our ups and downs within our own union, but when Liston makes comments such calling us a "laughing stock" or "stupid" - I find his outlook so immature from where I stand.

What kind of progress did Liston make when he was involved with his union? Can he prove he helped make a difference for his General Government Unit brothers and sisters at that time?
Where I stand, I don't put people down for wanting changes, even though we may not see eye to eye on many issues. I respect the GGU workers who are representing their union's rights to make a better place to work.
Personally, I don't see Liston on the same level with these real people - the GGU workers.
In my book, Liston has no clue of what a union really is.
