Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Assault:

• At about 5:45 p.m. Thursday a 31-year-old man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Alcohol was involved. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At about 2:15 a.m. Friday a 24-year-old man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved. He was lodged at the state prison.

Bear complaints:

• At about 10:50 p.m. Thursday a bear was reported in the 6300 block of Douglas Highway.

Drunken driving:

• At about 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Edward Boone, 40, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving and domestic violence assault in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. He was lodged at the state prison.

• At about 10:10 p.m. Friday Alexander Bearden, 23, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving and refusing to submit to a breath test on Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

• At about 2:55 a.m. Saturday Jose Esparza, 23, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving and refusing to submit to a breath test in the 100 block of Franklin Street. He was lodged at the state prison.

Minor consuming:

• At about 3:30 a.m. Friday a 19-year-old man was cited for underage drinking in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At about 11 p.m. Friday a 20-year-old man was cited for underage drinking in the 100 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Theft:

• At about 11:50 p.m. Thursday a 40-year-old woman reported a knife stolen from her car in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At about 7:40 p.m. Friday a 35-year-old woman reported a stolen purse in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic accidents:

• At about 9:20 a.m. Saturday an accident involving a Ford van and a Chevy Suburban caused a total of $13,000 in damage to both vehicles. Minor injuries were reported.
