Assault

• At 6 a.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 21-year-old man.

Disturbance

• At 9:01 p.m., the Juneau Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 5900 block of Montgomery Street.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 7:14 p.m. Monday, Jacob Scanlon, 20, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Minor consuming alcohol

• At 1:46 a.m. Tuesday, Benny Kinser, 18, was cited as a minor consuming alcohol in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.

Misconduct involving a controlled substance

• At 2:18 p.m. Monday, James Richard Westfall, 45, was arrested in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road on an outstanding warrant charging three counts of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. The warrant also charged three counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. A second warrant was also delivered to Westfall, compelling him to answer to a charge of assault. Westfall was also charged with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Westfall was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Service

• At 2:33 p.m. Monday, a summons was served on a 26-year-old man in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue.

Service needed

• At 1:41 p.m. Monday, JPD reported a domestic violence protective order needed to be served on a 26-year-old man.

Theft

• At 12:28 p.m. Monday, a 44-year-old woman reported the theft of jewelry from her residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The items have an estimated value of $1,350.

Vandalism

• At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 55-year-old man reported a 22-year-old man vandalized a room he was staying in in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• At 11:32 a.m. Tuesday, a 61-year-old man reported vandalism to his vehicle in the 8100 block of Thunder Street.

Warrant arrest

• At 5:48 p.m. Monday, Evan Marshall Smith, 21, was arrested in the 100 block of Seward Street on an outstanding warrant issued for failing to appear. He was also charged with criminal mischief.

• At 9:23 a.m. Tuesday, Robert James Hillyer III, 29, was arrested in the 8100 block of Dogwood Lane on an outstanding warrant issued for failing to appear.
