Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police arrested Jeffrey Isturis, 41, in Lemon Creek for drunken driving and transported him to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Just after 3 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch near the Travelodge. They arrested Melinda Stephens, 24, for drunken driving. Stephens was transported to state prison.
On Thursday, a Thorne Bay woman, 39, reported to the Alaska State Troopers that she had been assaulted by a man at their joint residence. A warrant was issued for the arrest of the man, 40, for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
About 10:30 a.m. Friday, a man, 20, was cited for city larceny on Glacier Highway and released.
Shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, police received report of a stolen compact disc holder, removed from a vehicle on Canyon Drive. There were no suspects.
Shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, police received report of a Nokia cell phone found near Cordova Heights.
Just after 6 p.m. Friday, police received report from Cinema Drive of a stolen gold band, three-inches wide, valued at $519.
Shortly before 1 p.m. Friday, a woman, 38, was arrested at The Glory Hole for disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer. She was transported to and lodged at state prison. Bail was set at $1,000. Alcohol was not involved.
Shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, police received a report of a bear on West Ninth Street.
The U.S. Coast Guard responded about 10:30 p.m. Friday to a distress call from a 30-foot fishing vessel, the Old Squaw, out of Cordova. The vessel had become disabled and drifted, and the captain was unsure of his position. A helicopter could not locate the Old Squaw Friday night, so the vessel dropped its anchor. When they located him Saturday morning, it was impossible to tow him to the nearest port, Craig, so he again dropped anchor, in a safer spot, and will be towed to port today.
