Sports letter
I would like to thank the Juneau Empire and your sports writer Charles Bingham for a great story (Oct. 25 sports section, "Juneau's Creighton Miller to enter alma mater's hall of fame").
I would like to add that many, many people contributed to my honor. I grew up with two younger brothers who were always there for me and five sisters who cheered me on. There were many - dads, coaches, teammates and opponents - who helped mold me as a ball player. Lots of friends challenged me and each other to become better. We were very competitive and spent many hours working on our game.
I played Little League, Babe Ruth and American Legion (baseball) in Juneau. I will never forget it. Of course, my mother always encouraging me and my father working with us will never be forgotten.
Thank you again for a special story. It brought back many fond memories of my time in Juneau. Go Juneau!!!!
