While some folks voted for "W" based on moral values, I voted for the lesser of two evils. We are justified in doing this if we believe that we are right to defend ourselves. There is justification in pursuing this war in Iraq; we're defending our own and setting the example, just like you would defend your life, family, property, and freedoms.
King David defended his own during his reign, as did Moses and Abraham. If you're going to quote the Bible, at least be sane enough to realize that the Bible also states that we have the right to protect ourselves and it's not murder to kill others who threaten the very liberties we're trying to keep. Read Exodus, Proverbs, Isaiah, I Corinthians through Revelation. The Old Testament always leads to the New Testament. Those people who enlisted were fully aware of what the risks were when they signed the papers. Their own families were also fully aware, though I can certainly sympathize with the families who have already lost loved ones and pray for those who are still fighting this war.
Let's just be conscious of the fact that their loss in not in vain and I, for one, certainly value the sacrifice that they've made to protect us. "W" is justified and I'm sure I'm not the only one who supports his efforts to keep our America a free country. Instead of complaining about the elections, pray for our president.
