Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Vehicle accidents:

• A 59-year-old man was cited at 4:24 p.m. Thursday for failure to yield after an accident with his 2004 Subaru and a 1996 Ford driven by a 20-year-old man near Fourth and Main streets. Damages were estimated at $1,500.

• At 10:11 p.m. Thursday, a 60 year-old man driving a 2006 Ford stuck a 2001 Honda Odyssey driven by a 41-year-old man, which then stuck an unoccupied 1996 Ford Taurus near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. All three vehicles were totaled.

• A 25-year-old man was cited at 1:43 a.m. Friday for speeding after he wrecked a 2001 Ford Ranger near North Douglas Highway. Damages were estimated at $3,000.

Driving while intoxicated:

• Michael Edenshaw, 44, was arrested at 2:38 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. His vehicle was impounded.

• Laura Johnson, 31, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Her vehicle was impounded.

Minor consuming:

• A juvenile was issued a citation at 11:33 p.m. Friday for minor consuming near 1600 Douglas Highway.


• An 18-year-old man reported at 2:11 p.m. Friday that his laptop computer had been stolen near the 4300 block of University Drive.

• A juvenile reported at 3:34 p.m. Friday that his cell phone was stolen near Lemon Creek Road. Losses were estimated at $300.


• Three people on the 5800 and 5900 blocks of Sunset Street reported their cars had been spray-painted. No total damage estimate was given.
