Vehicle accidents:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 1:16 p.m. Saturday, a 39-year-old man was injured in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle in the 8300 block of Airport Boulevard.

• At about 6:19 p.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man driving a GMC Yukon was involved in an accident with a 28-year-old woman driving a Subaru Legacy on Front Street. No damage was reported to the Yukon, but the Subaru sustained about $600 in damage.

• At about 10:04 a.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man driving a Ford Focus landed in a ditch on Mendenhall Loop Road. He was cited for speeding. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $1500.

• At about 10:11 a.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old man lost control of his 2002 Nissan and rolled it while driving in the 7900 block of Douglas Highway. Damage was estimated at $8,500.

Outstanding warrants:

• At about 2:22 p.m. Saturday, a 17-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding detention order in the 9200 block of Cinema Drive. He was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.

• At about 1:04 a.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. An 18-year-old man was also arrested for interfering.


• At about 7:59 p.m. Saturday, a man reported his 2003 Subaru Forester had been vandalized on the Juneau-Douglas Bridge. The windshield sustained damage on the passenger side.

• At about 8:07 a.m. Sunday, the glass on a front door in the 200 block of Front Street was reported to have been shattered. Damage was estimated at $500.

Drunken driving:

• At about 3:28 a.m. Sunday, 38-year-old William Roger Koenig was arrested for driving under the influence near Sealaska Plaza. The car he was driving was impounded.


• At about 4:42 a.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At about 8:59 a.m. Sunday, a 52-year-od woman reported that her dark blue leather wallet had been stolen from her Chevrolet pickup in the 1500 block of Beach Drive. The wallet was valued at $100.
