Glen Edward White

Longtime Gustavus and Juneau-born Alaska resident Glen Edward White died Nov. 8, 2009, in Olympia, Wash. He was 80.

He was born June 13, 1929, in Juneau, to Gustavus homesteaders William and Inez May White. He was a construction worker and man of many talents. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen White; son, Ed White; daughters, Marilyn Trump and Lori Elliott; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, 1437 South Gold St., Centralia, Wash.
