Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at


• A 25-year-old was arrested at 3:43 p.m. Saturday for assault near the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A 21-year-old man was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Sunday on charges of assault near the 9100 block of Glacier Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accident:

• A 22-year-old woman driving a 1996 Dodge Intrepid crashed at 11:36 a.m. Saturday into a guardrail on Fritz Cove Road. The vehicle sustained $2,000 of damage.


• Three juveniles were arrested at 11:10 p.m. Saturday near the 6500 block of Glacier Highway for burglary and criminal mischief.

Driving while intoxicated:

• Derek Antrim, 19, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated near the 10000 block of Glacier Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.


• A 49-year-old man reported at 7:25 p.m. Saturday that a 21-speed Bridgestone bike had been stolen near the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. The bike is valued at $500.

Warrant arrest:

• A 19-year-old man was arrested at 9:06 p.m. Saturday near the Western Auto store on Glacier Highway, on a warrant from Washington.


• Police received a report at 8:53 a.m. Sunday of a spray-painted building near the 1400 block of Glacier Avenue.
