Animal complaint:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, a man reported a bear getting into trash in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Driving without a license:

• At about 8:50 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man was cited for driving without a license on Riverside Drive. The vehicle was impounded.

• At about 11:50 p.m. Sunday, a 33-year-old woman was cited for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.


• At about 2:10 p.m. Sunday, a 33-year-old woman reported that her blue and gray Ride snowboard boots, Ride bindings and snowboard tool set were stolen from her Subaru in the 100 block of Sixth Street. The items were valued at $230.

• At about 4:35 p.m. Sunday, a 31-year-old man reported an iPod and handmade fillet knife in a leather sheaf were stolen from his Toyota Landcruiser in the 600 block of St. Ann's Avenue. The items were valued at $170.

• At about 5 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old woman reported that her car window had been broken and her purse, wallet and cell phone were stolen in the 300 block of Whittier Street. The items were valued at $156 and the damage estimated at $200. The purse and wallet were later recovered.

• At about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, a 51-year-old man reported that $150 and a credit card had been stolen from his wallet near the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.
